My family and I ate here once, never again. The food and service was awful. Chef BoyRDee tastes better than this food, and would have been a heck of a lot cheaper too. The wait staff was so slow, a dinner that should normally take 45min to an hour to eat and leave, took us 2 1/2 hrs. Plus we were all sick for the rest of the evening.

We were dying for italian food while in niagara falls and we were given mama Mia's as a recommendation. Our experience was wonderful. Caprese appetizer was delicious! Entrees were also very good!! It did not disappoint!!

we loved it we r huge pasta lovers and know what we like the atmosphere was maybe a little over the top italian but we loved it and will always go and recommend mama mias!!!

What a fabulous place. The food is soooo wonderfully good that even when you're full, you still want to eat more. My husband still talks about this place.

My husband and I went early on a Monday night. We had the place to ourselves. Very nice waitress. I had the chicken parmasan - very, very good - couldn't eat it all. My husband had the mata mata (half order of fettucine - umm umm good! and half order of lasagna. I have NEVER tasted lasagna this good! Made me wish I'd ordered that instead of the chicken parm. (and the chicken parm was VERY good). We will go back, and next time I will get the lasagna and a ceasar salad.

Everytime we go to Niagara Falls, we go to Mama's for dinner. The service is a little slow and the sauce could use a little more flavour, but worth every penny. Authentic food at its best. Almost as good as my Italian Mom's. Is priced right for the large portions, have had trouble finishing everything.
Best time to go is early evening to avoid the crowds. We always go around 6 and usually have a minimal wait. See you in the spring for our semi-annual visit!!!

Food was plain tasting, cook did not prepare food to my request for making it spicy also had maybe 8 baby clams in entire linguini. Food & cheap wine was overpriced and not that good. Service was terrible, when waitress "finally" asked if everything was ok (at the end of the meal) I told her my complaints, she offered no apology and just walked away. The air conditioning was so poor, we were hotter than our meal. I felt like I got ripped off.
$100 for 3 plates of pasta - no salad either - just pasta & 2 glasses of house brand wine - hello?
I've told Italian family members about my experience, they were appalled. This restaurant is obviously not up to traditional Italian standards.

It was the best little italian restaurant, my husband and I visit every anniversary in March.

My husband and I wanted to go out for a romantic dinner, and we heard that Mama mia's was excellent. The food was absolutely DISGUSTING due to how nasty and salty the red pasta sauce was, and how watery, the alfredo sauce was...there was no taste in the alfredo sauce...no cheese, nothing creamy, just basically noodles floating in water. We ended up not paying for the meal due to the fact that it was impossible to try and eat these meals. The funny thing is...we seen 2 other tables send their pasta with red sauce back, because of the saltiness, and one of those tables sent both plates back and left. The good thing is...the service was great, our waitress was very understanding, and she didn't seem surprised.

We visited on a busy Labor Day weekend and this was one of the few places that there was not a line outside! The waitress was very pleasant and our drinks order was great! The food on the other hand was not great.
The Carbonara was a real disappointment - the cream sauce had separated leaving blobs of milk solids on the rather thick and starchy pasta and the bottom of the dish was swimming in oil from the separation.
The garlic bread was the same bread offered free except it had been lightly spread with garlic butter and very lightly toasted- the bread was too light a consistency to capture the garlic flavor. The chicken Cacciatore fell short of my husband's expectations - the sauce was overly sweet and quite runny.

My wife and I ended up here one late night in the Niagara Region. WE heard it was a great place so we stopped in.
It was late Saturday night and we had a long wait, and the staff was not too friendly. Could it be it was late? Could be, but still no reason to have this outlook when entertaining the public.
We would never go there. Now the Capri is an outstanding place. Worth the meal alone.

We absolutely love Mama Mia's! We even had our rehearsal dinner there. We stop there every time we go to Niagara Falls (which is at least once a year) and sometimes more than once a visit. I even had to bring a dinner home to my hubby when I went up there with just my mom.
Great service, great staff, great food and great prices!

My husband and I have been going to Mama's for over 20 years! It is a wonderful place to dine. Small and cozy. Food has been consistantly EXCELLENT over the course of 2 decades. Sorry to hear the other diners had bad experiences. We've NEVER HAD A BAD MEAL THERE! They make the BEST VEAL PARM anywhere. In fact, when I want Veal, we get in the car and motor to N.F.
Caesar salad is wonderful, fresh and crunchy with great taste. Lasagna & spaghetti, equally excellent. LOVE THE SERVING STAFF! They remember us,and always make us feel at home (big plus!) Especially love our fav. server...Anna...ask for her section...she's the BEST SERVER IN THE WORLD! She genuinely takes interest in her customers. Prices are very reasonable (for N.F.) Here's to another 20 years of great food and fine service.
JUST LOVE THIS PLACE:) Go, you won't be sorry.
p.s. to the person that ordered the spaghetti & meatballs...if ya look at the menu closely...it DOES say meatball...singular..only 1! no deception here.

Excellent Food, great Atmosphere, always have dinner here when we are in town, the service is excellent, and the food is out of this world.

The service was ridiculously slow. A few drinks were delivered, but several of our party had to remind the waitress twice to bring the rest of our drinks. The pasta was bland, and took a very long time to be prepared. The special of the day (spaghetti with meatballs) turned out to be a little spaghetti with one meatball. When my husband asked for more meat with his dish, he was told that one meatball is what he gets. When our bills eventually arrived, after we voiced our complaints to the waitress, they had the nerve to tack on an automatic 15% tip for the inept wait staff.
Don't waste your money at this place.

The food was amazing, best lasagna i've ever had! We will bring our family again for sure, the server was very friendly and took care of us. try this place!

Not worth your time or money. Says home cooked meals, taste like a TV dinner with canned pasta sauce. Also, the wait staff made us feel like we were wasting their time. Everything as a whole was just plain AWFUL!!

The spaghetti is very good, is differ from what I ever had before. Overall, I enjoy my dinner.
